		<description>I am building the GE transistor buffer my question has to do with Electrolytic vs ceramic caps. Should they all be electrolytic for C1 and C2. I have an EL in C1 1uf, and a ceramic in C2 with the   installed as per schematic. should I replace C2 with an EL or can I keep the Ceramic?

i built a buffer i useat the front of my chain with your IC based circuit. it sounds great.

in my project i used a very small enclosure (2&quot; x 2&quot;) and used two mono jacks with just a DC power socket seeming i want it &quot;always on&quot;. works great and dosnt take up much room on my pedalboard.

I heard from the circuit-bent.com guy that you can maybe lower the input voltage and throw a buffer on it.  Would this be the sort of buffer I would use?
