It is a ultra low noise audio specialty op amp.

I saw another during a recent search that was $72!

JRC can’t be bothered selling the MUSE series op-amps in small quantities or to hobbyists. They want large manufacturers to purchase 2000 components. They’re also worried about forgeries and they have a large legal team to pay for his protection. There certainly are better and cheaper options available (look at the datasheets of other JFET op-amps. You’re just paying for some sort of exclusive product name that hasn’t proven itself to be any better than any other JFET op-amp. Besides if you’re building a DIY stomp-pedal, save your money and don’t believe the hype.
