[1001] WTF box

I saw this post in Craig Anderton’s tweets:

Create a “WTF box” for unknown hardware – that screw you found on the floor, etc. You never know when you’ll find where it came from.

I’ve got to do this… I have had a WTF plastic lid on my workbench for a long time, onto which I tossed all manner of screws and loose components, but it overflowed about a decade ago. I save wet-wipe boxes so I think I will get one of those and put all those loose items in it to tidy up my workbench.

I’ve had one (oh, alright, several) for years. I think most folks used to call them “junk drawers” though. 😉

Yeah, my workbench has two sets of drawers that end up being full of junk, but I need a box to keep all those small screws and components that get loose on top of my workbench! 🙂
