I have a limited number of AC125 PNP germanium transistors available.

I bought a bag of 150 pieces and got around 60 good ones out of them (40% yield). The remainder were very low gain and only suitable for use as diodes. The ones that tested good are excellent though, and ideal for any application requiring a germanium PNP.

The transistors were produced in September of 1982 so they are over 32 years old. These devices are the equivalent of the very rare OC71 transistor, and would make a great sounding fuzz or booster pedal.

Could the low gain ones be used for darlington/Sziklai pairs?

Gain is so low that I’m not sure it would be productive. The low gain devices are probably best used as diodes.
